The short version

• The Matio widget captures page structure only at runtime — never screenshots, never keystrokes, never form contents.
• We do not collect personal data of our customers’ end users at runtime.
• Processing and storage run on EU infrastructure.
• This website uses cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics — no advertising trackers, no cookie banner needed.

Data we process for Matio accounts

When you create a Matio account we process your name, email address, and billing details (handled by our payment merchant of record). Recordings you make to create your avatar and voice clone are processed only after your explicit consent step and only to generate your own digital twin.

Data the widget processes on customer sites

The embedded widget reads the structure of the host page (element positions and selectors) to anchor guidance, and records flow progress events (step shown, step completed, flow dismissed) under a random anonymous identifier. It does not read or transmit text your users type, screen contents, or anything that identifies a person.

Email list

If you leave your email address on this site, we use it solely for launch notes and product updates. Every email contains an unsubscribe link that works immediately.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data at any time — email hello@matioai.com.
